jlyne-the afgan is actually crocheting and it is just a big granny square. My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet when I was young and I picked it up again in college and then again once my children were born. I bought a how to book for both and just worked at it. The afgan pattern is incredibly easy!
that little birdhouse is divine! and that delicate pink thank you border. love that! I have a passion for making my own cards, too. But .. lately, blogging has completely blown that off the face of my map. I need a few more hours each day! Because I love sending handmade cards.
